Pro Football Hall of Fame
Fun fact about me, if you haven’t already gathered, is that I am a HUGE football fan. I live for Nebraska football games on Saturdays and Packers games on Sundays during the fall. Seriously, it is like a religion to me. So when I was on my road trip last September I knew that a stop at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio was a must.
.
Sporting my Packers shirt I started my journey through the Hall of Fame.
.
The first section was focused on football and the NFL’s start with a statue of “The Legend” Jim Thorpe welcoming you as you walk in.

After learning about the early days of football I went to one of the coolest parts in the entire museum, the locker room. It was here that I got to experience “A Game for Life” which was a very immersive video that featured locker room sounds and holographs (yes actual holographs...it was incredible to see) of Joe Namath, Vince Lombardi, and George Halas. It was nothing like anything I had watched or experienced before and I loved every minute of it. (Price of this is included in admission so do not skip this when you go!)
.
Moving on from the locker room I found myself in a room surrounded by all the Hall of Famers. Each member of the Hall of Fame, when inducted, receives a ring (called the Ring of Excellence), the Haggar Gold Jacket (pictured below), and a bronze bust sculpted in their likeness that remains in the Hall of Fame. Below are pictures of the busts I was most excited to see.
John Madden
Vince Lombardi
O.J. Simpson - I mean….I couldn’t not... lol
Mike Ditka - Famous player for Da Bears.
Terry Bradshaw - I have always loved Terry and knew it was him on Masked Singer just by the way he laughed! (Those signature shoulder shrugs man.) lol
John Elway
Joe Montana
Brett Farve
Earl Lambeau - The legendary coach of the Packers that helped create a grand dynasty in Green Bay. I cannot wait until the day I am able to watch the Packers play at Lambeau field.
How they make the busts
.
And now….time to look at some rings!
They had an interactive exhibit set up where you could create your own ring. Of course I made one for the Packers. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to manifest an actual Super Bowl win by the Packers.
.
The final exhibits I went through included the Lamar Hunt Super Bowl room and the Pro Football Today Gallery.
I thought this was a really interesting fun fact!
.
There was also a fan exhibit where superfans had been "inducted" into the Hall of Fame as well!
.
And of course I couldn’t go without taking pictures of all the Packer’s stuff!
Cheesehead for life baby!
.
.
.
I swear the smile never left my face as I made my way through the Hall of Fame. If you are a football fan you NEED to make the trip out.
