San Diego, California

In February I got the chance to go on a trip to San Diego, California and to say it was life changing would be an understatement. I had a total blast and I cannot WAIT to go back! You can watch the vlog and see pictures from the trip below! Hope you enjoy!

.

Day 1: San Diego Here I Come!

My mouth is watering just looking at this picture. HIGHLY recommend Bobby’s Burgers if you ever get the chance to eat at one. Everything was delicious and portions were HUGE.

After touching down in San Diego, Abigail and Jeremy took us out for dinner at Miguel’s! The food at here was pretty good although I will admit I was still pretty full from Bobby’s Burgers so I didn’t end with a happy plate. lol

Day 2: Fashion Island

This was the first day of wedding dress shopping for miss Abigail! We started with breakfast at the Rose Bakery Cafe and everything on the menu looked sooo good. I eventually went with a breakfast burrito and a chocolate muffin and I could not get over how thiccc of a breakfast burrito this was! Definitely filling and the cafe itself is so dang cute! Definitely recommend stopping here as well!

After wedding dress shopping at Anthropologie we swung through In-N-Out for some burgers before heading back to Abigail and Jeremy’s place to check out the amazing slideshow Kristin put together to help pick a spot for Abigail’s bachelorette party!

Day 3: Valentine’s Day

Kristin, Abigail, and I started this day with a little morning walk around the block with Abigail and Jeremy’s puppers Kobe and it was GLORIOUS. Who knew a little walk around the block could bring so much happiness?! lol Once we got back to their house we all loaded up in the vehicles to head to Encinitas where we grabbed some acai bowls and then proceeded to take a walk through town visiting shops and taking in the sights….like the two houses made to look like boats!

We also HAD to stop by Baked Bear for some sweet treats after lunch at the Encinitas Cafe.

Day 4: SHE SAID YES TO THE DRESS

This day was a full day of wedding dress shopping followed by a delicious dinner at Lorna’s and drinks and ice cream at The Sky Deck!

Day 5: 12 Mile Run Along the Beach

This day started with me running 12 miles along the boardwalk in San Diego followed by some absolutely amazing food (like seriously some of the best food ever) from Leilani’s Cafe and some much needed relaxing.

Day 6: Surf’s Up!

Today is the day I got to cross surfing off of my 30 Before 30 bucket list! I was terrified, but also pretty proud that I managed to stand up on my first time out! After surfing we grabbed some delicious food from Oscar’s and then went to the beach to chill and hunt for seashells.

Day 7: Seaport Village

Abigail and I started the day with a workout class at F45 and then we all went to Seaport Village to eat at Kansas City Barbecue (where they filmed scenes from Top Gun) and take in the sights. We then went on to Coronado Island where we explored the island, ate some amaaaazing gelato, and went on the hunt for sand dollars!

Beach cat!

Day 8: Heading Home :(
