365 Outfit Challenge: Week 5
Welcome back! I’m not going to lie, even though I was the one who
chose the timeline for this challenge, I was slightly skeptical that I would actually
be able to make it more than a month, let alone a whole year before running
out of new outfits to wear. However, we have officially made it past the month
mark and the challenge is still going strong without hardly any hiccups! In fact,
the hardest parts so far have been planning out all of my concert outfits in
advance and resisting the desire to wear sweatpants every day that I
don’t have to work. I am a little worried that when spring and summer come
back around again that I will have some problems finding new outfits to wear
since my closet is pretty thin for that time of year, but I suppose that is future
Amy’s problem! Enjoy week 5!

Day 29:
For this outfit my focus was centered on my black lace Time & Tru
kimono from Walmart that I hadn't had the opportunity to wear yet! I
paired it with my black and white Time & Tru tank top also from
Walmart, my high waisted American Eagle skinny jeans, and
my black Old Navy booties. My only accessory was my silver
triangle necklace from Walmart.

Day 30:
Finally, after many days of ruined plans, I was going to get to go
fishing! Therefore, I, of course, had to wear my go to fishing outfit
featuring my Real Tree camo t shirt from Walmart, my Arizona jean
shorts from Walmart, my black flip flops from Old Navy, and finally
my “Shut Up and Fish” camo hat also from Walmart.
(Quick side note: My plans were ruined once again and the fishing
had to be pushed to another day!)

Day 31:
A non-windy Kansas summer day and a Sunday off
work means ...you guessed it ...dress time! This Sunday
church outfit featured my cream Old Navy dress, which
I paired with my Aeropostale jean jacket, and
my cognac sandals from Forever 21.

Day 32:
I absolutely love wearing hoodies and sweaters with
shorts in the summer because it provides a nice cozy feel while
still keeping me from overheating on those cooler summer
days! This outfit featured my white Peanuts crop top hoodie
from Target, my high waisted Levis jean shorts,
and my black Old Navy flip flops.

Day 33:
This simple outfit featured my orange Active scoop neck top
(which I have had for over 10 years!), my medium wash
American Eagle skinny jeans, taupe Carlos booties, and my
gold rope necklace.
..........................................................
Day 34:
This outfit featured my white lace Soprano shirt
(which happens to be another oldie but goodie), my
high waisted American Eagle skinny jeans, and my pair of taupe
Unisa booties. For accessories I threw in a bronzey-gold
feather necklace and my brown and gold Fossil watch.

Day 35:
Comfort is the name of the game with this outfit which
comprised of my black scoop neck Faded Glory tank top, my
light wash distressed American Eagle jean shorts, my black
Mossimo cardigan, and my black Old Navy flip flops. To add a little
more definition to my waist I added a black belt and for
accessories I wore my Supernatural necklace from Hot Topic.

Favorite outfits: Days 32 and 33!
One of my favorite things about fall and winter is the overall feeling of
coziness that I get from sweaters and curling up with a blanket in
front of a nice warm fire.
My day 32 outfit allowed me to feel a hint
of this coziness with my Snoopy hoodie and that is what ultimately
made it one of my favorite outfits for this week! (Plus how could I not
choose the outfit with Snoopy and Woodstock as my
favorite? Just look at those cuties!)
