365 Outfit Challenge Week 19
week 19
.
Throwbacks, concerts, and a special day all played
featured roles in the crafting of this week’s outfits
whose overall focus was without a doubt comfort.
(Especially the days that made up my almost
entirely sleepless 48 hours towards the end of the
week. You will read more about this below.) Also,
with Halloween right around the corner, this week
showed me just how difficult it is to refrain from
buying Halloween related clothing. Around this time
next year I have a feeling my bank account is going
to be looking pretty sad. Haha! Anyway, that’s
all I have for now, but I hope you enjoy week 19!
.
Day 127:
Believe it or not, this is the exact same outfit that
I wore for my high school senior pictures back
in 2014!* It is made up of my orange scoop neck
tee, my American Eagle skinny jeans, my brown
riding boots, and my patterned infinity scarf. The
only difference with this outfit are my accessories
that include my gold RIAH fashion
bracelets and my gold and tan watch.
.
*proof: Senior Pic 2014!
.
Day 128:
I am absolutely obsessed with this
Nightmare on Elm Street shirt from Hot Topic.
Not only does it look freaking cool, but it is also
extremely comfy. If I wasn't doing this challenge
I would probably wear it almost everyday! I
paired this shirt with my No Boundaries
jeggings, and my Supra high tops for a cute and comfy outfit.
.
Day 129:
This fall outfit features my olive green Old
Navy tank, my brown sweater cardigan, my
black American Eagle skinny jeans, and my
black knee high boots. My only accessory for
this outfit was my silver layered necklace from Walmart.
.
Day 130:
If I had to pick one article of clothing to wear
for the rest of my life I would for sure pick a
hoodie without hesitation (in fact that is what
I did almost 10 years ago!). However, for the
challenge I needed to find some new ways to
style my hoodies if I wanted to wear them so I
paired my gray Old Navy hoodie with my American
Eagle plaid button down, my No
Boundaries jeggings, and my Adidas running shoes.
.
Day 131:
This day kicked off an insane 48 hours due
to, you guessed it, concerts! After waking up
at 3am and working a 12 hour shift, Nicole
and I made our way to Kansas City, MO to
see the rock band Bring Me the Horizon. Now,
while they are a rock band, their style leans a
little more on the emo side of things so that is
kind of the look I wanted to achieve with my
outfit. I chose to wear my Nightmare on Elm
Street long sleeve from Hot Topic underneath my
red buffalo plaid button down and paired these
two items with my black American Eagle skinny jeans
and my black lace up boots. To complete the
look I added in a black choker necklace from Walmart.
.
*Quick side note: I actually took this picture on
a different day (I know, shame shame!), so my
makeup and hair did not look like
this the day of the concert….
Ah there we go...now you can get the full effect. Lol
.
Day 132:
We managed to make it home around 1am
after the BMTH concert and after about an
hour of sleep followed by yet another 12 hour
shift at work, Nicole and I were taking our crazy
selves to the Theory of a Deadman concert
in Wichita. For my concert outfit this night I went
with my cream black lace skull tee, my black
American Eagle skinny jeans, my black lace
up boots, my black leather moto
jacket, and finally my silver chain necklace.
.
Day 133:
Today was a somewhat special day because...
drumroll please....IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY! I
luckily had the day off from work on this day,
and full disclosure, I spent it doing absolutely
nothing. I wore my Nightmare Before Christmas
shirt since that was my 13 nights of Halloween
movie choice for the evening, my bootcut
Maurices jeans, and my Justin cowboy boots.
.
Favorite outfit: Day 131
This outfit featured one of my new favorite shirts,
some red buffalo plaid, and also a lot of black,
all things I absolutely love. Aside from the
slightly uncomfortable choker necklace, this
was an outfit that I didn’t mind spending over
14 hours in and one that I felt fairly confident in as well.
.
Well fam we are finally getting closer to being
all caught up in time with this challenge.
(Hopefully we will be there within the next week or so!)
I hope you all enjoyed week 19’s outfits and as
always feel free to let me know if you had any
favorites in the comments below! I love
hearing from you guys! See you all for week 20!
