365 Outfit Challenge Week 21
week 21
The fall outfits were in full swing this week after Kansas
finally decided to bless us with some actual fall
weather! In fact, almost every outfit below contains
at least one of the fall essentials that I mentioned in
my fall essentials article (which can be found here!).
November is also the time of year when I wear the
majority of my “true” fall outfits so I am excited for you
all to see what I put together this week and in the weeks to come!
.
Day 141:
This fall outfit is all about the layers. It features
a white tank top tucked into my high waisted
American Eagle skinny jeans over which I wore
my olive green sweater cardigan and knee high
black boots. My accessories included a black
choker necklace and my gold crystal necklace.
.
Day 142:
I had plans to hang out with some friends on this
day off of work so I chose to wear an outfit that was
simple, cute, and comfortable. It features my white ¾
sleeve henley top, my high waisted American Eagle
skinny jeans, my brown heel boots, and my black
quilted Old Navy vest. I also wore my
gold bracelets from RIAH Fashion.

Day 143:
I love the look of fishnet tights, but I have always
been too afraid to wear them because of the
"sexiness" that tends to accompany them. However,
this challenge has pushed me into being more open
to trying out new things and I decided to go for it. I
paired the tights with my faux suede skirt from Old
Navy, my black long sleeve from
Maurices, and my black Old Navy booties.
.
Day 144:
This extremely simple outfit features my rose long
sleeve thermal from Walmart, my American
Eagle skinnies, and my tan ankle boots.
.
Day 145:
I absolutely love the look of vests with my outfits
because they are a cute and easy way to add a little
bit of color and dimension to any outfit.
(I have this exact same Old Navy vest in 5 different colors!)
I paired my vest with my gray Mossimo long sleeve,
my American Eagle skinny jeans, and my cognac
booties. For accessories I wore my cognac
belt and gold prism necklace.
.
Day 146:
I am a sucker for black on black outfits and this
one is no different. It features my new Greta Van
Fleet tee that I picked up at their concert, my black
American Eagle skinny jeans, my black lace up boots,
and my brown leather jacket from Dillards
that I threw on for a slight pop of color.
.
Day 147:
This is the perfect outfit for a quick day hike, or
in my case, a day running errands. For this outfit I
paired one of my favorite graphic tees with my black
Under Armour crop leggings from Marshalls and my
adidas running shoes which I also got from Marshalls.
.
Favorite Outfits: Days 142 and 143
Even though my outfit for day 142 was fairly simple, I
ended up completely falling in love with it. I think it
also helped that my friend Kristin (also a fellow Everyday Adventurer)
and I had an impromptu photoshoot on this day which
made me feel extremely confident and cute.
.
Everything about day 143’s outfit made it a favorite
for this week. My faux suede skirt is my favorite skirt
in my closet, my long sleeve is my favorite color of all
time, and I am so glad that I finally dredged up enough
courage to wear fishnet tights. Definitely felt extremely
cute in this outfit and I am excited for when the challenge
is over so I can wear it again next fall.
