365 Outfit Challenge: Week 29

Week 29

I would say this week of the challenge featured a good

variety of outfits including another festive Christmas

outfit, a 1920s inspired look, and a slightly

risqué outfit choice. Scroll on down to see these outfits

and more!

............................................

Day 197:

Christmas day may have come and gone by this point, but

I was certainly not done celebrating it! This day I hosted

my family’s Christmas which meant I needed a Christmas

outfit that was both festive yet functional enough to host

and cook in. I chose to wear my red buffalo plaid button

down, my black American Eagle skinny jeans, my brown

knee high boots, and my gray herringbone Old Navy vest.

.................................

Day 198:

This simple snowy day outfit features my dark

green Old Navy sweater, my No Boundaries

skinny jeans, and my black knee high boots. I also

sported some gold accessories, which

really popped against my green sweater.

.......................................

Day 199:

My plan for this day was to spend some quality time

hanging out with my dad at his house so I chose to

go with this comfy “homeless chic” outfit which

featured my red PINK thermal, my black leggings, my

Sperry duck boots, my cream American

Eagle socks, and my cream crochet beanie.

..............................................

Day 200:

The roaring 20s have returned and these two

flapper girls were ready to party! Sporting my

1920s bedazzled dress, my faux fur wrap, some

black elbow length gloves, a feather headband, and

my black block heels from Target Kristin and I decided

to attend a Great Gatsby themed new year’s eve

party in Wichita and ring in the new year in style.

...................................

Day 201:

The morning after the big new year’s bash was

certainly a tough one to wake up for, but thankfully, my

church elected to have the holy day of obligation service

at 11am instead of the usual 9am giving me a little extra

time to sleep in! My outfit for this day featured my

white Forever 21 sweater, my red skinny jeans, my

gray knee high boots, and my maroon

crochet scarf that I made myself!

.................................

Day 202:

I initially got my inspiration for this outfit from an

Instagram account I follow (shelly.curry) that features

outfits for the alternative girl. My version of this outfit

is made up of my slightly oversized Bring Me The

Horizon band tee, my fishnet leggings, and

my black lace up boots.

......................................

Day 203:

Sweater weather was still very much upon us this January

day so I decided it was the perfect time to wear my

marled maroon sweater from Zumiez, my white infinity

scarf, my No Boundaries skinny jeans, and

my brown heel boots.

Favorite Outfit: Days 200 and 202

...............................

I felt like a real flapper girl in my 1920s attire and it

was a surprisingly empowering experience. It is too

bad that 20s fashion isn’t in style anymore because

I felt extremely sexy and confident while wearing

this outfit. Anyone else want to sign a

petition with me to bring it back?

....................................

I will admit, day 202 was kind of a risqué outfit. I didn’t

even leave the house this day for fear of the strange

looks I would get and because of the fact that my shirt

may have been just a hair too short. However, I still

love the overall look of this outfit so much and it was

insanely comfortable to wear all day long.

What was your favorite outfit from this week?

Did you do anything special to ring in the

new year? Are you interested in seeing more
