365 Outfit Challenge: Week 40

This week brought the official start of the spring

season and a very fortunate end to the winter into spring

transition period. (I was running out of outfit ideas quickly!)

However, Kansas still didn't seem quite ready to move on

and the temperatures remained on the chillier side

resulting in some not so springy spring outfits. At least

that is what I am blaming it on and not the fact that the

majority of my closet is black and I only have a handful of

actual spring pieces. Lol Hope you enjoy the week 40 outfits!

Day 274:

My favorite part of a hoodie is the hood of course! I

just love the coziness of it. This Cabela's hoodie of

mine I have had since high school and it has been on

many an outdoor adventure with me. I paired it with my

American Eagle skinny jeans and Sperry duck boots.

Day 275:

I definitely think I wore this outfit a little early because

it wasn't officially spring yet (and the light colors scream

spring to me), but I still think it is super cute. It is made

up of my gray striped Old Navy ¾ tee, my olive green

American Eagle military button down, my high waisted

skinny jeans, and my blush espadrille wedges from Target.

Day 276:

I never would have thought to wear red with

mustard, but when I saw a similar outfit on Pinterest

I thought it actually looked pretty good and decided

to recreate it. My recreation outfit features my red

skinny jeans, my white Old Navy tank, my mustard

cardigan, a cognac belt, and my cognac Old Navy booties.

Day 277:

I have yet to figure out how to style cardigans like

this gray Old Navy one without making the whole

outfit look too preppy. For this attempt I wore it with

my sage green thermal from Walmart, my American

Eagle skinny jeans, and my gray knee high boots.

Day 278:

I actually found this baseball tee in the men's

department of Goodwill so it is a little oversized, but it

sure is comfy! I paired it with my American Eagle skinny

jeans, and my Sperry boots for a comfy off day look.

Day 279:

First day of spring and not a floral print on me. Man

was I slacking! Lol This outfit features my black scoop

neck tank, my high waisted skinny jeans, my black lace

up boots, and my dark brown leather jacket.

Day 280:

Another hoodie outfit. Y'all I wasn't kidding when I

said they were one of my favorite pieces! For this one I wore my

gray Forever 21 hoodie with my black American Eagle

skinny jeans and my gray Converse chucks.

I felt so cute in this outfit all ready for Spring and

walking 4 inches taller both literally and in confidence.
