We Read the Highest Rated Books on Our Goodreads TBR Shelves

Kelly and I find ourselves disagreeing with Goodreads quite a bit. The winners of the choice awards are rarely books we think actually should have won (and sometimes aren't even books we think should have made the top list at all) and our ratings for books usually don't mesh with those from everyone else. However, for February, the month of love, we decided to try reading the most well loved books on our Goodreads TBR lists. For Kelly this meant she was reading the book "A Prayer for the Crown-Shy" by Becky Chambers and I was dipping my toes into the "Mindf*ck Series" by S.T. Abby. And as the title of this video suggests...neither of us agreed with the majority of readers who rated these books so highly. Hope you enjoy hearing why that was the case in this video!
