Is quarantine still a valid excuse for my excessive Amazon

ordering? Lol In 2020 I managed to reduce the number of items

ordered (ever so slightly), however, I also tripled the amount of

money I spent. Y’all, I think I may have a serious problem.

After years of having a phone case that doubled as both a

case and a wallet, I decided I wanted something a little cuter.

This case has honestly surprised me. It was super easy to put on

and it does a fantastic job of protecting my phone. I cannot tell

you how many times I have dropped my phone (the corners of this

case can speak to that), but my phone (knock on wood)

has yet to crack in any place.

.

Phone Case.*Update* As of February 2022 this case is still on my phone. It is looking a littlw worse for wear and my phone screen has been cracked in the upper left cornee, but I still highly recommend this case. My screen would be much worse withoutnit that's for sure..

Not gonna lie, when Popsockets first came out I made fun of

everyone who had one. However, after dropping my phone onto

my face for the umpteenth time I decided they were worth a try and

y’all let me tell you...it was one of the best decisions ever. My nose

no longer feels threatened with breakage by my phone falling on it, I

have dropped my phone in general less, and it makes it sooo much

easier to hold my phone for pictures. If you don’t have a

Popsocket I highly recommend you get one.

.

If you have a Popsocket then I highly recommend you get one

of these to hold your phone for you while in the car. It makes it

so much easier to use my phone for directions, create and send

video messages on Marco Polo, make or receive phone calls, and

it keeps my phone from getting lost in my cup holders, between

my seats, or in the abyss I call my purse.

.

I bought this camera with the intention of using it as my YouTube

camera since it was one of the top rated cameras by vloggers. I

used it for a few video clips throughout last year and so far I am

pretty happy with the picture quality, battery life, and it is certainly

a very durable camera surviving my multiple trips of 2020.

I have always wanted to pierce my nose, but my fear of

commitment and fear of my dad’s wrath have kept me from doing

it. Then, one day my friend Abigail showed me this fake nose ring

she bought and I added it to my cart immediately. I will admit that after

wearing it for a while it does start to hurt, but I really like the subtlety

of it and how I can choose when I want a little more edgy look.

I am super into the boho look when it comes to decorating my

house, which of course includes a TON of plants everywhere.

I, however, do not have much of a green thumb so buying a real fiddle

fig leaf tree was just not in the cards for me. This fake one

(which Nicole and I named Ficus) looks super realistic

and is just what I was looking for.

While I love Ficus, I didn’t love the look of the pot he came in so

I decided this basket would be the perfectly aesthetic way to cover

it up. (Linked to a similar product since the specific

one I ordered is currently unavailable.)

This past summer I redecorated my patio and I knew I was

going to be getting these string lights before I even started the

project. I absolutely love the look of the edison bulbs, they go perfectly

with my boho theme, and they also give off a surprising amount of light.

Queer Eye is one of my favorite reality tv shows and when I

heard that one of the main characters wrote a book about self-care

I immediately added it to my cart. I started reading it as soon as it

arrived and I didn’t put it down until I finished it. I

LOVED this book. Highly recommend.

My skeleton Fred needed a buddy for 2020’s Halloween party so

I bought and welcomed with open arms, Ginger. She was a great

nurse for the party and it was love at first sight for her and Fred.

I bought these dresses for my Amazon Christmas dress haul and

y’all I cannot believe they are from Amazon! They both fit so nicely, the

quality of each is also surprisingly good, and the prices are hard to

beat! The sweater dress is so extremely comfortable to wear

(I could legit fall asleep in it) and I didn’t get overly hot or feel

suffocated while wearing it either which, with the turtleneck, is a

huge plus for me. It was the perfect dress for Christmas Eve. The

velvet dress surprised me because I honestly expected it to be a

little scratchy on the inside, but that is not the case! Granted, it

wasn’t as soft as the sweater dress, but it was still a dress I was

able to wear for multiple hours while cooking and

hosting Christmas dinner with the fam.

.

The bench on my front porch was in desperate need of some

decoration this past fall so I purchased these outdoor pillow

inserts and pillow covers. They were exactly what my bench

needed and y’all they are definitely weather proof! These pillows

got wet and fell on the ground and they still look

as good as the day they arrived.

2020 was the year of my first Friendsgiving and this quote couldn’t

be any more accurate! These plastic cups were a great addition

to the table setting and made for cute little souvenirs for the gift bags.

For last year’s Halloween party I really wanted to step up the

decorations game and, one day, while scrolling through Spirit

Halloween’s website, I came across a projector that would project

different Halloween scenes onto the wall. I figured it would be the

perfect thing to set up on my big picture window on the front

porch, but the price tag on it was about as scary as the scenes

themselves. So I took to Amazon and found this one which did an

absolutely amazing job and was one of the most talked about decorations.

As a bonus it also comes with pre-programmed Christmas

scenes so I was able to use it for Christmas as well!

Between travelling and the blog I have been constantly running

out of space on my computer (I might not be a hoarder with

physical things, but man I will hold on to photos forever) so I

decided it was finally time to get an external harddrive. This one

was recommended to me by one of my techie friends so I felt pretty

confident in the purchase and it has worked very well so far.

Last year I turned my backyard shed into a home gym

(article here!) and I really wanted it to look as professional

(and stylish) as possible, so I bought these interlocking floor mats.

They were super easy to install, have held up well, and my knees are

so thankful to me for not making them workout on the concrete floor. I

will admit that they are a little hard to keep clean, but

I really like the way they turned out.

.

For the Halloween party we decided to turn the gym into a movie

room so of course that meant we needed a projector! I found this

mini one on Amazon and with all the positive reviews decided to

give it a go. I like how small it is and the fact that it comes with it's

own carrying case because it makes it so much easier to transport

and the picture quality was pretty good. I will admit that I don’t really

know how to work it yet after using it only once for the

Halloween party, but I like what I have seen from it so far.

.

Surprise surprise, but we have another item I bought for the

Halloween party (I told y’all I went all out! Lol). This shower

curtain fit the theme (which was sanitorium) pretty perfectly and

was actually a really good quality shower curtain. I think it will

be one that I can use again and again as the years go on.
