Friday Eve Flashback: Memorial Day Weekend Fun

What I've Been Up To
.
My long Memorial weekend of dinners, lunches, and parties started Thursday
night with a Foodie Friday date with Cassidy and Beau! For this one we
journeyed to Chapman, KS to try out Aid Station and the full review
will be out tomorrow!

Friday night I got to have dinner with two of my favorites, Nick and
TEXAS ROADHOUSE ROLLS. lol I have been wanting some of these
amazing golden brown rolls for quite awhile now and when
dinner plans with another friend fell through Nick decided
to take me anyway. <3

.
After a long day of cleaning and trying to get things crossed off the
to-do list, I made my way down to Kelly's Saturday night for her
Memorial Day weekend shindig! Totally forgot to take pics while
I was there, but it was a good time with good food and good company!

Sunday after church I had an amazing lasagna lunch with Nick
and his family at his parent's house and then him and I
headed back out to his field to
work some ground.

Monday was Memorial Day and luckily I had the day off of work
so after a morning spent editing my office clean with me
video (check it out here) I was back out riding in the tractor with Nick while
he planted soybeans! Definitely wasn't the most comfortable ride of
my life, but I had a lot of fun just being with him.

What the Cats Have Been Up To
.
With the summer temperatures really starting to set in and my
refusal to turn on the air conditioner so early in the summer
holding strong the babies have really been spending most of their time
just lounging around. However, they have also kinda been trying their
best to get the moths and other bugs under control by catching and
eating them. It's nice to see them finally starting to pull
their weight around here. lol
.
