Friday Eve Flashback: November 2023
I don't know what is happening this year, but the -BER months are seriously
just FAH-LYING by. Here is a look back on my November which was full
of a lot of fun outings and memories.

What I've Been Up To
.
In November I Heart Cookies threw an event in my town where
you could visit their food truck to purchase some of their delicious
deep dish cookies AND see some DINOSAURS!
.
Things were kind of touch and go for a bit as I thought she might eat me.....
.
But then we became friends she taught me how to RAWR. lol
.
We even got to meet this living pet dino! He was pretty sweet, buuuuut Beau was NOT a fan.
.
.
He preferred these little rideable dinosaurs instead.
.
.
Another event I drug Cass and Beau along to in November was a birthday
celebration for the Book-a-Holic book stores in Wichita. We ended up checking
out all three of their locations in town and ended the day with soooooo
many books for our libraries.

We got to sign their Happy Birthday banner!
.
The last official day of the season for Tanganikya Wildlife Park arrived
and thanks to Cass' membership we all got to get in for free!
.
These monkeys were a hoot.

Moments after Beau tried to run out of the tortoise enclosure screaming because they started walking towards him. lol

We got to feed the lemurs!

In November I also decorated my house for fall. I didn't have the chance
to decorate last year so it was nice to see all of my cute fall decorations out once again.

After coming across an event on Facebook for the 15th Annual Fried Chicken
Turkey Dinner I KNEW I was going to be attending. I drug along Justin
and Nick and we wobbled out of there with FULL stomachs.
Definitely would go back! (You can read our full review here.)

They were both so happy I made them take a picture. lol

November was also the time for gift guides with my favorite one
of the month being the book lover's gift guide Kelly and I put out!

The final big event in November was all about cookies. As many of you know I
am in the midst of a baking competition to find the ultimate Christmas cookie
and I forced my friends to be on the judging panel. Part one of the competition can

Finally to round out the month I had a dinner date with some of the best people
I know, Abigail and Kristin (and Jeremy and Nick)! Both of these lovely ladies were back home for
the Thanksgiving holiday and I was so so happy we were able to get
together before they headed back to their states that are too far away from me.

We also got to bake cookies together!

This show was definitely interesting to watch especially if
you are a fan of the show Squid Game.

Silent Night

Justin and I rented this movie on Prime and it was.....interesting. lol I think it
could have been done a lot better and the ending was so
so sad. Not one I would recommend.

Something From Tiffany's

.
Super cute movie for the Christmas season. And looking it up
now I see it is a book as well sooo to the TBR that one goes. lol

Candy Cane Lane
.
.
Another good Christmas movie to check out that is great for the
whole family. Kinda similar vibes to The Curse of Bridge Hollow.

Last Christmas
.
.
This movie has a twist in it that will hit you like a gut punch, but will
leave you smiling through the tears at the end. So heartwarming.

EXmas
.
.
Have you ever broken up with someone, but not their family? In this movie it is a battle
of the exes to see who will win her ex-fiance's family and while
it is cheesy and ridiculous I enjoyed the ride.

If you are a fan of The Boys you need to give this spin off a try. It definitely
continues with the same crude and gory aspects as The Boys, but I'd be
lying if I said I didn't think it was pretty dang good.
