Ghost Hunting at the Haunted Theorosa's Bridge - Late Night Shenanigans Episode 1

I am so very excited to announce a brand new series coming to my YouTube channel called

Late Night Shenanigans! In this series my friends and I will be travelling to various haunted

locations across the country in search of things on the other side. If you have any interest

in the paranormal I can guarantee this isn't a series you want to miss!

.

For this first episode of Late Night Shenanigans my friends Chance, Rhett, Alexis and I

travel to the small town of Valley Center, KS to investigate a seemingly normal

concrete bridge located on 109th street called Theorosa's Bridge. However, after visiting I can tell you right

now that this bridge is anything but normal.

.

Theorosa's Bridge was built in the 1800s out of wood and metal and stood for many many years

before it burned down in 1974. The bridge was rebuilt only to burn down once again

in 1976. Disheartened the bridge remained unbuilt for 15 years before the final concrete bridge

you see today was constructed in 1991. As far as I know there were no deaths involved

in the burning of the bridge so what is it that makes this bridge a hot spot for the paranormal?

Well there are many legends. One legend is that a Native American woman named Theorosa had

a baby with a white settler and out of shame threw her baby off the bridge and into the creek

below where it drowned. It is thought that she then was so overcome with grief and guilt that

she drowned herself in the same creek not long after. Another legend states that a Native American

woman's baby was kidnapped by white settlers and she spent the rest of her days searching for her lost daughter.

.

Regardless of which legend is actually true, if any as there is no actual record of a

Theorosa living in Kansas during that time period, there have been many reports to support

the theory that the bridge is in fact haunted including sightings of strange lights, temperature

changes, and the sounds of wailing or baby cries. It is also rumored that cars crossing

the bridge may stall and if you say the words "Theorosa I have your baby" while on

the bridge she will attack you.

.

Sounds like a great place to spend a night eh? Well at least that is what my group thought.

Check out the video below to see just how our night at Theorosa's Bridge went.
