365 Outfit Challenge: Week 22
week 22
This week didn’t contain a lot of events, but that is not
to say it wasn’t an eventful one! I got the chance to meet
up with a good friend of mine that I hadn’t seen in a
while, I finally achieved the perfect messy bun, I found a
way to wear one of my favorite and most comfortable
cardigans, and I tried out a returning fashion trend! It was
quite a week indeed and you can see all of this and
more down below! Enjoy week 22!

Day 148:
Anytime I wear orange and black together it makes
me think of Halloween, which isn’t necessarily a bad
thing considering it is my favorite holiday, but I prefer
to keep my “Halloweeny” outfits at least in the month
of October if nothing else. So, in order to keep from
looking like a walking advertisement for Halloween
two weeks after it had already passed I wore my olive
green American Eagle button down over my orange
scoop neck tee to break up the orange and black
colors. I then paired these two pieces with my black
American Eagle skinny jeans and my black Old Navy booties.

Day 149:
“What’s the sitch Wade?” I don’t know about you, but I
am getting some major Kim Possible vibes from this
outfit...you know if Kim lived during this time and
wasn’t stuck in the 2000s fashion wise. (Sorry, but while
I am sure they are very comfortable, you won’t be seeing
me in cargo pants anytime soon.) This Kim Possible inspired
look features my black long sleeve thermal, my olive
green skinny jeans, and my black booties all from
Old Navy along with my cognac belt.
..........
Day 150:
This outfit features a lot of traditional fall colors with
my olive green long sleeve from American Eagle, my dark
wash skinny jeans from Walmart, my brown sweater
cardigan, and my taupe Unisa booties. My only accessory
for this outfit was my silver triangle necklace.
............
Day 151:
Today was Veteran’s Day so I figured I would show
a little support for the troops with my outfit which
featured my camouflage long sleeve thermal from
Walmart, my high waisted American Eagle
skinny jeans, and my black lace up boots.
..........
Day 152:
A lot of people avoid the denim on denim look, but I think if
you do it right it can actually look really cute! My take
on the denim on denim look features my light wash
Forever 21 pearl snap, my American Eagle skinny jeans,
my gray sweater cardigan, and my taupe Carlos booties.
.............
Day 153:
I had the opportunity to meet a good friend of mine
at the movies this day so I wanted an outfit that was
cute for going out, but comfortable enough to sit
through a 2 hour movie.
(We ended up seeing Gemini Man and it was pretty good!)
The outfit I chose features my green thermal
from Walmart, my American Eagle
skinny jeans, my burgundy quilted vest from
Old Navy, and my taupe Carlos booties.
.................
Day 154:
This outfit was centered around my blue and white
cardigan from Delia’s. The rest of my outfit was made
up of my white v-neck from Old Navy, my gray skinny
jeans, my black knee high boots, and
my black multi-charm necklace.

Favorite Outfit: Day 152
I’m not going to lie, picking day 152 as my favorite
outfit for this week came as a bit of a shock to me, but I
just love the way this outfit looks!
(Must be my current obsession with 70s style!) I think the denim
washes in this outfit are different enough to make it not
look like a denim tuxedo, but similar enough to make
them appear as though they were meant to go together.
Also, adding in the cardigan over the top really helps to pull
this outfit together and I remember feeling extremely confident in it all day!

What was your favorite outfit from this week?
Are you a fan of the denim on denim trend that
is resurfacing? Are there any styles from years
past that you are excited to see return or wish would
just stay away forever? Let me know in the comments!
Also! If you are just now joining me on this journey you can
