My Southwest US Vacation Lookbook Part 2
.
.
As I mentioned in part 1, I was pretty happy with how all of
my outfits turned out for this trip. However, I think this week
of outfits might just be my favorite. I felt so confident and
cute in all of them, they were the exact aesthetic I was looking
for, and I cannot wait to wear these outfits again! Scroll on down
to check them out and let me know what you
think down in the comments!

Day 8: Joshua Tree National Park
Honestly, I struggled big time with picking out an outfit for
Joshua Tree. All of the inspiration pics I was seeing featured
maxi skirts or leather jackets and y’all, it was supposed to be
over 80 degrees and I planned on doing some hiking soooo
neither of those options was going to work for me. In the end
I went with this look and I actually am pretty happy
with how it turned out and looked in my photos.

Day 9: Joshua Tree National Park - Palm Springs, CA
Everything about this picture is what I had envisioned when I
planned my photoshoot. This outfit totally says desert bada** and
I am definitely here for that. Also, it was light weight enough to
keep me from overheating in Death Valley where the temperature
was hovering around 100. Obsessed.

Day 11: Zion National Park
My second day at Zion I tackled the famed Angel’s Landing
hike and knew I wanted a movement friendly outfit that hugged
my body (The last thing I wanted was for a loose tank to be getting
caught on something and me falling to my death! lol) and so I
threw on my favorite pair of leggings and this adorable workout
tank from Amazon and conquered that hike like a boss.

Day 13: Bryce Canyon National Park
One thing I didn’t anticipate on my trip was to be running
into cold temperatures and snow! (I know, miss I-am-prepared-for-everything
wasn’t prepared….smh….I am disappointed in myself lol) However, that
is exactly what I ran into at Bryce Canyon so my original outfit idea
of a t-shirt and shorts was thrown out the window and traded for
leggings and as many layers as I could throw on.

Denim - Thrifted
Adidas Jacket - Thrifted
Hat - Bryce Canyon Gift Shop (I got a sunburn on my head and of

to try and cover it up! #mortified)

Day 14: Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument
Lonnnng hikes and conquering fears is what awaited me on this
day in Grand Staircase and this outfit was absolutely perfect for all
of that. It allowed me to adjust nicely to the weather (flannel on
when cool and off when hot) and it was suuuuper comfortable
to wear and allowed for a lot of movement.
