Foodie Friday: KC Mac N' Co. - Kansas City, Missouri

Unfortunately Justin wasn't able to come with me for this week's Foodie

Friday, but I had a very very special guest take his place…my bestie Abigail!

.

.

I got to spend a weekend in KC with this amazing lady right before 4th of

July and while I was there we decided to check out a place she actually

found on TikTok and sent to me a couple months back, KC Mac N’ Co. I was

pumped! Scroll on down to read our reviews!

So the first thing you need to know about this place is that it is located

inside of a red brick building called Parlor. We were looking for a sign

on the street that read KC Mac N’ Co. but you won't find one outside of the building.

.

You walk in through the front doors of Parlor and then continue on to the

back of the building. We placed our orders at the register after spending

a good while trying to decide what kind of mac and cheese we

wanted (they all sounded so good) and then gave them our names and

phone numbers so they could text us when our orders were ready.

.

We sat in the little seating area to wait for our food, which was actually

super chill, and then once we got the glorious text that said our food was

ready we grabbed it and sat at a high top table right by the front doors we came in through earlier.

.

Abigail ended up ordering the Buff N’Ough Mac (Mac and cheese topped with their signature B&B chicken and Bussin' Buffalo sauce blended with garlic and peppers)

.

.

While I got the Cowboy Mac (Mac and cheese topped with smoked brisket and a buttermilk onion garnish)

.

.

And of course I wasn’t walking away without trying their peach

cobbler so I ordered one of those as well.

.

.

Here’s a look at their menu:

.

Abigail’s Review:

"6 or 7/10 Maybe just cause it is far away from me, but on a

scale of mac and cheese 9/10"

.

“The cheese on top of the mac and cheese was like a cheese pizza which

is dope cause I love cheese pizza and it tasted like real cheese. Made me

wonder if I had actually had real cheese before that. The buffalo chicken was also really good.”

.

KC Mac N’ Co. Stats:

Service : 10/10

Food: 8/10

Cleanliness/Decor: 10/10

Price: $$

Overall Rating: 9.3/5

.

Since this isn’t a sit down restaurant my service rating was based

on how we were treated when ordering and how long it took for us to get our food.

The guy that took our orders was super super sweet and happy and the

food was done fairly quickly. The mac and cheese itself was pretty bomb and

there was soooo much of it. I seriously made almost 5 meals out of my one order!

Oh and the peach cobbler was pretty good as well although it was extremely

hard to cut into with my plastic spoon. I also really liked the vibe and look of

the place as well as the Parlor itself! I could totally see myself going there to

just hang out and chill with friends on a Friday/Saturday night in KC.
