We walked in through the door and was immediately greeted with a guitar player on

a live music stage to our left and a counter bar on the right. Unsure of where to go

we walked on through the crowd of people toward the back of the restaurant

where a hostess stand appeared to be. However, this turned out to just simply be

a register to purchase merch at and as we stood in the doorway looking for where

we were actually supposed to go we got yelled at by the man working the merch

register to not block the door. (Like bro...you could have asked if you could help us

or tell us where we actually needed to go. We obviously had never been there before. *sigh* Freakin' rude.) After our scolding we headed back toward the front of the restaurant and finally

asked a couple of people where we were supposed to go to be seated and were

finally pointed to a line that had formed by the "I Walk the Line" staircase.

.

We waited in this line for probably about 30 minutes staring at the people seated

at the tables eating waiting for them to finish and clear out. Finally we were seated

at a table not made for 5, but one we were making work and our waitress

brought out the menu for us to peruse.

.

.

When it came time to place our orders Easton ordered the southern fried

chicken with sides of mashed potatoes and gravy and mac and cheese.

.

.

Tyler ordered the BBQ sampler plate complete with ribs, pulled beef, and

pulled chicken, and sides of hush puppies and mac and cheese.

.

.

Brittany also ordered the southern fried chicken with sides of mashed

potatoes and gravy and mac and cheese.

.

.

I ordered the ribs with sides of mashed potatoes and gravy and mac and cheese.

.

.

And finally Rhett ordered the BBQ sampler plate as well with sides of coleslaw and mac and cheese.

Walking in to this place I was pretty excited for the BBQ. However, that excitement didn't

last long. From the moment of our scolding to the end of the meal I really kind of

wished we had gone, well, anywhere else. Putting aside my current strong dislike

for country music I did, for the most part, enjoy the atmosphere of the place.

I thought the staircase with the lyrics to "I Walk the Line" was pretty neat and the live

music was good. I just wish they would have made it more clear on where to go if you

were actually there to eat and not belly up to the bar. While our waitress did well for

our table the service rating had to come down because of the rudeness we experienced

from other employees and the long wait time to get our food after placing our orders.

It took waay longer to get our food then it did for us to eat it. And finally, the food. The

biggest disappointment of them all. As was a common theme around the table my ribs

I ordered were also very very dry (adding BBQ sauce was a MUST) and, sadly, they weren't

even close to being fall off the bone. In fact, they were actually pretty difficult to pull apart.

Definitely NOT how I want my ribs to be. The mac and cheese was also not that good

unlike what our waitress attested to (Kraft mac and cheese is better), but hey on a

positive note, the mashed potatoes were good. Definitely not a place I am going to be returning to.
