We arrived at Party Fowl right around peak dinnertime so the place

was pretty busy. However, we were able to get seated fairly quickly and started looking over the menu.

.

.

As I mentioned we were all still a little full from lunch so Rhett and I decided to share a meal of the hot chicken (with mild seasoning) and beignets

It also came with coleslaw.

and Brittany and Tyler got an order of the piggy skins.

.

I also made sure to get an order of the hot chicken poutine (mild seasoning as well), because,

well, there is nothing that can stop me from ever ordering poutine at a restaurant any

time I see it on a menu. lol

.

.

Finally Easton, of course, went with grilled cheese and fries.

Crew Reviews:

.

Brittany:

After letting Brittany try one of our beignets she said that they were good and

that she just wished she could have tried more food. However, the pig skins she got

were good, but she wasn't a huge fan of the white BBQ sauce they came with saying it weird.

.

Rhett:

Rhett thought this place was really good, but he unfortunately was still full from

lunch. He did say that he thought the chicken tasted a little extra salty, but was

still really good and that the beignets were really good as well.

.

Easton:

The harsh critic Easton said that this place was definitely better than the

Johnny Cash place (I agree E-man lol) and he of course enjoyed his grilled cheese.

I fell in love with the style of this restaurant the second I saw the outside of the building.

It had a fun rustic vibe to it that really made me expect to have a good restaurant

experience, which honestly wasn't far off. The service here was good. Our waitress was

patient with us as we took a little longer to order due to some outside circumstances we

were dealing with at the time, did a good job checking on us throughout the evening, and

our food came out fairly quick. The food was definitely an interesting journey. I, like everyone

else, thought the beignets were pretty good and I agree with Rhett that the chicken was

just a wee bit salt slathered. However, I didn't think it was too over the top to eat although

I really could only handle a small amount of it. The spice level on the chicken was definitely

no joke even with the mild seasoning so caution with that if you are a spice wussy like me.

Overall, it was a pretty decent experience although I definitely am open to trying out some

other Nashville hot chicken places before returning to this one.
