Foodie Friday: The Pin Up Café - Herington, Kansas

It has been YEARS since I walked through the doors of the Pin Up Café in

Herington and I am so happy that I was able to go back with the two bestest

dinner dates Beau and Cassidy! Scroll on down to see what we thought of

this little "hole-in-the-wall" joint attached to the bowling alley.

We walked in through the doors of the café and were immediately greeted

by the two lovely ladies working that evening. We picked a table near

the bowling alley side entrance and our waitress was immediately at our table getting our

drink orders and dropping off our menus.

.

.

There was actually quite a bit of food offered on their menu including ALL DAY

BREAKFAST. It definitely made it difficult to narrow down what we wanted to

eat, but eventually we ending up going with mini corn dogs for Beau

a Philly Cheesesteak for Cassidy

and a bacon cheeseburger for me.

Crew Reviews:

.

Cassidy: "The Philly was good, but there was a lot of bread for as much

filling as it was. However, the flavor was there! I coulda probably

enjoyed the corn dogs just as much. They hit the spot. lol"

.

Beau: Beau wasn't all too in to eating that night, but the chocolate milk

he got definitely seemed to be worth the trip for him. lol

The Pin Up Café Final Stats:

Food: 7/10

Cleanliness/Décor: 7/10

Overall Rating: 8/10

The instant you walk in to the Pin Up Café you feel like you are walking into

your Uncle's house to spend time with the fam. The service was absolutely

great and super personable. The interior might not be the fanciest you will

see or really match the logo or bowling alley theme, but it fits with the

laid back chill vibes. The food was alright. I could have for sure used

more seasoning in my burger patty and more salt and crunch to my fries, but it

still managed to smash my cravings for a bacon cheeseburger and fill me up.
