We walked in through the doors to the restaurant and were

immediately greeted with a sweet lady telling us "sit anywhere

you'd like" so I led us to a booth up against one of their windows.

.

Our waitress was at our table as soon as we sat down

taking our drink orders and giving us menus to look over.

.

Nick ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich with homemade fries

.

.

and I ordered the clubhouse sandwich which comes with a side of chips.

I love places that make you feel like you are at your local

everyone-knows your-name food joint and this place definitely

has that vibe. I walked in through the doors feeling like I was

just following through on my normal Sunday afternoon routine

and the homey farmhouse décor of the place really helped

cultivate that feeling as well. Even our plates looked like

ones you would find in your Midwest grandma's kitchen which

was just perfect. Our waitress was super sweet and on top of

things making sure we were well taken care of. In fact, every

staff member we dealt with were very sweet. The food was

alright, nothing super spectacular. Although I do have to

admit spectacular is kind of hard to achieve with a club

sandwich. lol I was pretty surprised to see just how much

meat came on my club sandwich though so not

complaining about that. I definitely want to go back sometime

to try their buffet because once I saw they had fried chicken

up there I knew the "mistake" I made by ordering off the menu. lol
