Foodie Friday: Bobo's Drive-In - Topeka, Kansas

In the latest video on The Everyday Roamers travel channel I said

I had the unrealistic goal of going to every restaurant

featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives so what better choice for

a Foodie Friday review than one of the only places off this list

I have visited, Bobo's Drive-In. Scroll on down to read more about Justin & I's visit!

Justin and I pulled up to the drive-in annnnnd then completely

disregarded the novelty of a drive in to eat inside the tiny

building it was attached to. However, walking in through the door

I definitely didn't regret my decision to make us go inside

because it was sooo cool. It had the classic black and white

tile flooring, old school booths, and an actual diner style bar which all made

it feel like a little trip back in time. We had a worker at our table

immediately to get our orders which included for Justin a Spanish burger with onion rings

.

.

and for me a regular cheeseburger with fries, a chocolate

shake, and of course a slice of their homemade famous apple

pie. Yes you read that right. P-I-E PIE. At a drive-in. And y'all?

It was some of the best apple pie I have ever had.

Bobo's Drive In Final Stats

Service: 10/10

Food: 10/10

Cleanliness/Décor: 10/10

Price: $

Overall Rating: 10/10

.

If this place didn't receive a 10/10 rating it would have been sacrilege.

I truly have zero complaints about anything I experienced here from

the delicious food (seriously screw the calories and get the milkshake

and apple pie too because it was so so so so good), the amazing

service (everyone that worked here was absolutely FANTASTIC), and

the entire setting from the old school nostalgic look to the packed

crowd really just made it feel like a different time when things

moved a little slower and you were with family. Absolutely would

go back again and highly recommend you stop if you ever have the chance!
