Episode 1: Merry Grinchmas

It has been hard to keep this secret, but finally the wait is over! A new series has arrived here on the channel and it is so cluckin' good. No like literally that is the name. Haha! In this series my bestie Cass and I are taking you along with us as we bake and cook our way through social media recipes, themed movie foods, cookbooks, and more! We keep it real in this kitchen showing you everything from wins to fails and what it is like cooking with a 4 year old who loves to help. lol So hope you are ready for the fun chaos two crazy chicks in the kitchen can bring. We promise it will be So Cluckin' Good.

Here in episode 1 we make snacks and a dinner for the the the THE GRINCH! We had a ton of fun and hope you enjoy watching as well! All “recipes” can be found below the video. :)

Grinch Fruit Kabobs

Ingredients:

Green Grapes

Mini Marshmellows

Strawberries

Wooden Skewers

Directions:

1) Cut the tops off of your strawberries leaving them in little triangular shapes.

2) Taking a wooden skewer, assemble your “Grinches” by first putting on a green grape, followed by a strawberry, and then a mini marshmellow.

Grinch Chocolate Dipped Oreos

Ingredients:

Oreos

White Almond Bark - 1 24 oz bar

Green Food Coloring

Heart Sprinkles - (We found ours here on Amazon!)

Directions:

1) Melt almond bark on stovetop or in microwave stirring occasionally.

2) Once fully melted, remove from heat and add green food coloring until chocolate reaches your desired Grinchy green.

3) Drop Oreos in the melted chocolate coating them fully before removing and placing on parchment paper. (PARCHMENT PAPER IS A MUST. OTHERWISE THEY WILL STICK TO YOUR PLATE….as we learned lol)

4) Allow to dry and then devour.

Grinch Rice Krispies

Ingredients:

Rice Krispies Cereal

Mini Marshmallows

Butter

Green Food Coloring

Heart Sprinkles

Directions:

1) Melt butter in pot on stove.

2) Add mini marshmallows and stir until smooth.

3) Add green food coloring until desired Grinch green.

4) Add rice krispies and stir until coated.

5) Dish into a 9x13 pan and add heart sprinkles.

Grinch Cake Pops

Grinchy Christmas Puppy Chow

.

Ingredients:

9 cups Rice Chex Cereal

1/2 cup Peanut Butter

1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (we attempted to use white chocolate chips to turn the chocolate green with food coloring, buuuut the peanut butter ruined that plan lol)

Powdered Sugar (measure with your heart)

Red & Green M&Ms

Directions:

1) Melt chocolate on stovetop.

2) Add in peanut butter and mix until smooth.

3) Add in Rice Chex and stir to coat cereal pieces.

4) Spoon cereal into a gallon sized baggie, add powdered sugar, and shake to coat.

5) Add M&Ms. Enjoy!

Grinch Green Juice

Ingredients:

Green Apple Gatorade

Sprite

Whipped Frosting

Red Sprinkles

Directions:

1) Coat rim of glass with whipped frosting followed by red (or whatever color you desire) sprinkles.

2) Mix 3/4 green apple gatorade with 1/4 sprite.

3) Add mix to glass with coated rim. Enjoy!

Cindy Lou and Grinch Pasta

Ingredients:

Noodles of your choice

Green Food Coloring

Pink Food Coloring

Directions:

1) Boil water in pot on stovetop.

2) Once boiling add in noodles and food coloring. One pot green, one pot pink.

3) Allow noodles to cook in colored water until al dente. Drain and serve!
