Friday Eve Flashback: Busy Busy Bee
Y'all these past two weeks have been straight CHAOS. I barely have had time to think
let alone stay up on housework or write blog posts and honestly
🎶 I'd settle for slow down🎶 right about now. Lol Hopefully this weekend I will have
some time to relax, but until then here is a look back at my last TWO
weeks! Hope you enjoy!

WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO
.
Kicking off this flashback with some fun in the sun! I finally managed to get a
little bit of free time to enjoy the beautiful warm weather we had been having
lately and it was GLORIOUS. I got to enjoy my sun mat, almost finished an entire
book, and got...semi tan. (I swear I could spend 12 hours in the sun and never
become a full golden Goddess. *sigh* dang fair skin problems. lol)

Saturday night I ended up back at my dad's to continue my work on
organizing my hoarding rooms and of course got to see this handsome man.
We ended up grilling up some hot dogs and brats and made some
potatoes in the oven. Not the healthiest of meals, but it definitely hit the spot.

Sunday Nick had to go to Salina to pick up some building materials so I tagged along
with him and we made a day out of it! I convinced him to take me to Jimmy Johns
for lunch and to Target for a little shopping and then we ended the trip with
visits to Menards and Tractor Supply.

.
The whole rest of the week was spent getting things ready for Cassidy and I's garage sale!
We had soooo much stuff, but overall it ended up doing fairly well! There was still
some items leftover, but I'm glad a good chunk of our stuff could find new homes.

Beau "helped" us Friday night.

Sunday I somehow managed to find myself back out at my dad's once again where
I tried to create my own version of a brookie (brownie cookie) ice cream sandwich.
Sadly, it was probably the biggest fail of the night though with the ice cream just
melting right off. Note: Soft serve ice cream is NOT meant for sandwich creation. lol

And then finally Wednesday night I found myself back at the shelter for our monthly
board meeting and got to see some adorable faces I had missed the last couple of weeks.
These cats are seriously so sweet and lovable.

This past week also brought with it a couple of memories including:

When I went skydiving! 18 and fearless is a real thing and while I am glad I was able
to cross this off the bucket list it is definitely something I don't ever
see myself doing again. lol
.
.
and also my friends trip to Vegas! We might have only been there for a short
time, but man did we pack a lot of fun things into it and it sparked a
great love for Vegas I never thought I would have. Can't wait to go back!
