Watch It Wednesday Part 12

In this edition of Watch It Wednesday I am sharing my thoughts on a wide

variety of shows from reality TV to comedies with most of them actually

receiving a WATCH for me. So if you are searching for something new

to watch this just might be the article you want to check out. Scroll on

down to see what’s on the docket!

.

.

The Ultimatum SKIP

.

This show comes from the creators of Love is Blind which is a show y’all saw

in one of my other Watch It Wednesday articles. Unfortunately, this show fell

very short of the expectations set by Love is Blind and while there was some

drama I just couldn’t get behind it. All it was was these people getting upset

at their significant others for dating someone else when that was pretty much

exactly what they signed up for in the first place. Dumb. Best episode of the

whole show in my opinion was the reunion episode. Lol

.

Queen of the South WATCH

.

The main lady in this show, Teresea, is a straight up BOSS. Dannnnng girl! Okurrrrr! Queen

it is! I am straight up in love with this show and it is perfect for anyone that is a fan

of cartel shows. In fact, while this may be controversial, I actually think it has more

action, drama, and is better than Narcos. I mean there are only so many times

where I can watch Pablo standing alone staring off into space before I get

bored. Lol Definitely give this show a watch.

.

Elite WATCH

.

Ummm well. This show is….graphic. Like cancel your porn subscription graphic cause

this show (like 365 and Dark Desire) has all you need for free. Lol However, once

you get past those moments in the show there is actually an interesting storyline

going on. I’m not going to say that it is an amazing show by any means, but there

was something about it that made me want to keep watching (even with the bad dubbing lol).

.

Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story SKIP

.

This wasn’t a bad documentary. In fact it was quite well done. However, before

starting it I had absolutely no idea who Jimmy Savile was so I think that kind of affected

my overall views on it. Had I heard of Jimmy prior I might have been more invested

in it, but I really could have cared less about him and therefore it just wasn’t

something I could get into.

.

Animal WATCH

.

If you like animals and/or are a fan of watching Animal Planet this show is

definitely for you. Not only did I find it really interesting, but so did my cats!

.

The Bubble SKIP

.

I couldn’t even finish this movie which says a lot because I am not typically

one to DNF something. Absolutely terrible and easily one of the

worst movies I have ever watched.

.

Married at First Sight WATCH

.

TLC reality tv shows will always get me I swear. Lol I think the idea of getting

married at first sight is absolutely bonkers, but y’all I will sit here and watch

other people do it for hours on end without hesitation. Definitely a reason why

this reality show has 10 seasons and is still making new episodes.

.

Choose or Die SKIP

.

The description on Netflix says this movie came out this year in 2022, but really

what I think would have been best would for it to have never come out at all. We

really didn’t need another cursed video game/would you rather horror movie. The

concept is overdone and there wasn’t a single scary scene in this movie. In fact, there

wasn’t even a super graphic/gory scene so honestly I wouldn’t even call it a

horror movie at all. I just couldn’t get into it and so for that reason

I have to give it a big red SKIP.

.

Anatomy of a Scandal WATCH

.

This show isn’t perfect. The flashbacks and camera work is a bit shoddy and

there are definitely some plot holes. However, I’d be lying if I said this

show didn’t have me continuously clicking “next episode.”

.

White Hot: The Rise and Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch WATCH

.

Ummmm anyone else not know that Abercrombie had a fall? Lol I have to say

that I absolutely loved the start of this documentary with the early 2000s music

and umm well, the Abercrombie guys too of course. Lol This documentary was

certainly an eye opening one and I learned a LOT about a company I was apparently

very oblivious to. Those shirtless guys must have done what they were supposed

to do and distracted me well. Lol  This documentary honestly kind of made me happy

that I didn’t shop at Abercrombie growing up because I wouldn’t want to have supported a

company with those values. Hopefully they have changed their ways.

.

BONUS!

.

Trivia Quest PLAY

.

I had no idea that Netflix had games you could play, but when I saw this

one pop up in the top 10 trending I had to give it a go. I used to play the Trivia

Quest app on my phone all the time and I was interested to see how they

were able to make it into a TV show. It is definitely a little cheesy, but with new

episodes daily there is plenty of opportunity to apply some of your trivia knowledge and have fun.
