Watch It Wednesday Part 11

This week's watch it Wednesday is in fact a sad one with the majority of the shows and movies

on this list being ones I personally don't think are worth your time. I guess after all the success

I had been having lately with Netflix shows we were due a week like this. Hope you still enjoy

and let me know if you agree with my thoughts in the comments!

.

.

Taylor Tomlinson: Look at You SKIP (Watch Quarter-Life Crisis instead lol)

I came to the realization the other night that no matter how much you love a

comedian, if you don’t relate to the things they are joking about you probably

aren’t going to find their set all that funny. Unfortunately, that is what happened

with this one. I love Taylor Tomlinson. Her Quarter-Life Crisis Special was hands down

my favorite stand-up I have ever seen. However, this one fell way short garnering only

a few laughs from me here and there.

.

The Weekend Away WATCH

I hope if I ever were to go missing in a foreign country I would have a friend who

cares enough to stay and look for me with the same fervor as the main character

in this movie. Definitely weren’t any super surprising reveals, but I did find

the movie to be pretty entertaining and worth a watch.

.

Making Fun SKIP

While it was nice to see someone, especially the host of the show, so accurately

express my own feelings about children I personally couldn’t get into this show.

I think it would be a fun one to watch with your kids (just be careful cause

they might start asking you to build them things like Jimmy on the show lol), but

since my furry kids don’t care about what I watch this just wasn’t it for me.

.

The Adam Project 1000% WATCH

This movie has entertaining and believable action scenes, humor, and a scruffy

Ryan Reynolds. I don’t know what else you could want from a movie. Seriously

though I loved this movie so stinking much and the ending was just the

absolute best. I legit almost sat down and watched it again as soon as it finished.

.

Life After Death with Tyler Henry WATCH

When I was in Sedona on vacation I visited a psychic and participated in a tarot

reading. However, even after that I’m not sure if I totally buy into the whole

medium and psychic scene. Was it interesting? Oh definitely, buuuuut I feel like

a lot of it can be generalized and that is why I went into this show pretty skeptical.

Now, I’m not about to tell you that this show completely changed those

views, however some of the stories were pretty crazy and I find it hard to

believe he made them up. Overall, I did find the show to be pretty entertaining

and in some moments really heart-warming as well. I will definitely be continuing.

.

The Andy Warhol Diaries SKIP

I had never seen Andy Warhol before and knew him solely for his “Campbells” painting

so you can imagine the shock I had when I saw what he looked like for the first time. Certainly

not what I was expecting. Lol I found out a lot about Andy Warhol that I never would have

guessed. He definitely was an….interesting character. While it was kind of interesting

to find out who Andy Warhol was and about his complete savagery, it’s definitely

not a show I will be going around recommending.

.

Is It Cake? SKIP

This isn’t a terrible reality baking show, buuuuut there are definitely better ones

out there. I wasn’t a huge fan of the host and while it was cool to see the

bakers showcase their skills I just couldn’t really get into the show. I put it

on for background noise and that was about it.

.

Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives. SKIP

Some of the things I heard in this series were straight crazy and it got to

the point where I just was so dumbfounded by the main lady’s actions that

I didn’t want to watch anymore (and I didn’t lol).

.
The Power of the Dog SKIP

I honestly cannot understand how this was an Oscar nominee. Although then again

so was the stupid “Don’t Look Up” movie so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. The

language used in this movie was just plain weird and I absolutely HATED Benedict

Cumberbatch’s character. I mean I know I wasn’t supposed to like him, but this

was way past the normal hate I should feel. He just didn’t make any sense

and the "cowboys" love for this guy Bronco Henry was bordering on obsession. I thought

this movie would be good, but it was just a waste of time. If you want a good western

go find one with Sam Elliot or John Wayne.

.

Motel Makeover WATCH

I fell in love with this show from the preview. The style of the two main ladies is

pretty much my style to a tee and so it was both dangerous and constructive for me

to watch because not only did this show give me some great design ideas it also made

me want to buy my own hotel and start renovating it. Highly entertaining.
