Watch It Wednesday Part 16
Well this week of ratings definitely answers my question from the last Netflix Watch
It Wednesday...no I am not going soft on Netflix shows. lol It was definitely a
mixed bag of shows this week with only a few that I would really recommend.
Scroll on down to read my thoughts!

Web of Make Believe: Death, Lies, and the Internet SKIP
.
My first takeaway from this show was simply my ignorance. This show covered some
very big news stories, some that happened not even an hour from where I
live, but yet I had never heard about them before. I had to give this show a "skip"
though simply because of how much politics were involved/mentioned in
the show. I am not one that follows politics or has any interest in them whatsoever
so I really struggled with this show for that reason.

God’s Favorite Idiot SKIP SKIP SKIP
I was excited for this show once I found out that (Michel from Gilmore Girls) was in
it along with Melissa McCarthy, but that excitement didn’t last long. Sure this show
had some funny moments here and there, but certainly not enough for me to want to keep watching.
.
The Upshaws SKIP
.
I've always enjoyed watching Wanda Sykes in movies and tv shows, but unfortunately
this one didn't even touch my funny bone. I guess it just wasn't my type of humor
so I have to give this one a "skip" rating also.
.
Love & Gelato SKIP
.
This movie gave me some serious Emily in Paris vibes not only with its setting, but
also with the cheesy yet kind of cute story. Unfortunately, I just didn't think it was
all that great. I mean I'm not mad that I watched it, but also not in any
hurry to ever watch it again.

Halftime SKIP
.
I’m not going to call myself a Jennifer Lopez superfan by any means, but I have
always enjoyed music from Jenny from the block and I would be lying
if I said I wasn’t a fan of some of her movies. This documentary was interesting and
had some great insight into J. Lo’s life (dang has she accomplished a LOT), buuuuut
I think it is really only something super enjoyable if you are a big fan of hers.
.
Snowflake Mountain WATCH
.
I grew up in a rural community where you worked hard for what you wanted
so one thing I cannot stand is lazy people or spoiled kids. I think that is probably
why I found this show so stinking entertaining because I loved watching the
snowflakes squirm! Haha! Oh man it was just the best.
.
Pirate Gold of Adak Island WATCH WATCH WATCH
.
I wasn’t expecting much from this show before starting it, but I found myself
compulsively hitting “next episode” until there were no more episodes left
to watch. It was super interesting and each episode ended with a cliffhanger
so I just had to keep going.
.
Sing 2 WATCH
.
I’m always skeptical of movie sequels when I think the first movie was super
good, but I definitely didn’t need to be skeptical of this one. While I do still
like the first one better I found this one to be just as entertaining and cute.
Definitely a great movie for family movie night whether that’s
with your 2 or 4 legged kids!
.
The UnXplained with William Shatner WATCH
.
It wasn’t until I started this show for Watch It Wednesday that I realized I actually
used to watch this shows allllll the dang time when I was younger. Guess I’ve truly
always been a spooky bitch. Lol If you like all things weird and creepy you are
going to want to give this show a watch.
.
The Man From Toronto WATCH
.
Kevin Hart is back in his typical funny guy role in this action comedy and y’all I
gotta say I found it to be a pretty enjoyable experience. Ridiculous at times?
Of course, but I did find myself laughing at different parts and it did have
some pretty decent action scenes as well.
