Worlds of Fun Halloween Haunt - Haunted Kansas City Halloween Weekend (Blogtober #9)

Last weekend myself and a group of friends made the long journey to Kansas

City to partake in my first spooky event of the Halloween season, the Halloween

Haunt at Worlds of Fun. This was my first time at Worlds of Fun and the fact

that it was during spooky season really brought the visit to the next level. All in

all I had an absolute blast even though there is a very good chance I developed

some PTSD from being peer pressured onto a couple of rollercoasters, and

I hope we can all make it back again next year. Hope y'all enjoy

watching our crazy weekend adventures!

More details about our trip:

Where We Stayed:

.

For this weekend trip we decided it was going to be cheapest to rent out

one of the Worlds of Fun village cottages which sits right next to the park

within walking distance of the gate. The cottage itself has enough beds to

sleep 5, but we still made it work with our 6 bringing along an air mattress

to put up in the living area. With all six of us chipping in the price for the entire

weekend for each of us only ended up being about $50 so I definitely cannot

complain about that. If you stay in the cottages you also get

discounted tickets to the park so e sure to purchase your tickets in the front office!

Where We Ate:

.

Our first night in Kansas City we stopped at Legend shopping center and ate at Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen. You can read more about this place here in this article. Other than that we mainly just ate fast food or leftovers. lol

Attractions:

.

The Beast Haunted House

.

On our first night we went to The Beast Haunted House which is said to be one

of the best haunted houses in the country. I know I had an absolute blast walking

through and got the living daylights scared out of me more than once. We also

tried to go to the Edge of Hell haunted house, but unfortunately, as you will have

seen in the video it was closed due to a power outage. Hopefully I can still make

it back before the end of the season though to make it through.
