25 Days of Christmas Movie Marathon (2021)
Crank up the fireplace, grab your hot chocolate, and get
wrapped up in your coziest blanket because my 25 days
of Christmas movie marathon is here! In this article I have
my top 25 must watch Christmas movies starting December
1st and leading up to the main event, Christmas day! Hope you
enjoy and are ready to watch along with me!
.
December 1st: The Nightmare Before Christmas
This year I am really struggling with the fact that Halloween
is over so I figured, since many people argue that this is
actually a Christmas movie and not a Halloween movie, I could
throw this one in at the start of the list and kill two birds with
one stone! In all honesty there is never a bad time to
watch this movie in my opinion.

December 2nd: Die Hard
Another controversial movie this time of year. Now, you
can yell all you want, however, I won’t listen because Die
Hard, while not only a great movie, is also A CHRISTMAS
MOVIE. Thank you and Yippee-Ki-Yay.

to watch The Holiday. Don’t ask me why, but I enjoy watching
this movie every single year and love all the actors in it. It is a great story!

December 4th: Holidate
This is a new movie on the scene, but I loved it so much when
I watched it I just had to include it. The movie itself takes place
over multiple different holidays, not just Christmas, but it will bring
you so much joy (which is a big thing during Christmas time right?)
that that little detail will just slip your mind. Lol Also...totally
down for being someone’s holidate. However, unlike the people
in the movies, I expect to get paid for my time. Hahahaha

Where to Watch:
Netflix: Free with subscription
.
December 5th: Holiday in Handcuffs
Full of cheesy lines and scenes there's just something
about this comedy that I cannot let go of. It is a staple
on my watch list every single year.

December 6th: Office Christmas Party

one. Lol It is a crazy ride, but one you
will most definitely enjoy.

December 8th: Jack Frost
This is a movie from my childhood that I just have to include
every year. The graphics are not the best, but I don’t think they
are bad enough to take away from your movie watching
experience. The soundtrack in this movie is pretty killer too. I’d go
see the Jack Frost Band in concert. Lol

Feeling naughty this Christmas season? I know Billy Bob
Thorton was in this movie! Definitely not one to sit and watch
with the kids, but one that will have the adults in the
house roaring with laughter.

.
Where to Watch:

.
December 11th: Four Christmases
Four Christmases sounds like a pretty good deal to me, unless
they are the four in this movie. Hilarious from start to finish
and might just make you appreciate your family
a little more….maybe. Lol

December 13th: Klaus
I watched this movie for the first time earlier this year and
thought it was actually a really good animated movie. I found
myself just sitting and staring at the screen instead of doing
something else while watching so you know it must be good!
It would be great for a family movie night.
.
Where to Watch:
Netflix: Free with subscription

December 14th: Jingle All the Way
I got REAMED for not having this on my list two years ago

December 15th: The Santa Clause
This is the movie that started it all and makes Tim Allen forever
Santa Claus in my mind (hence why watching him in El Camino Christmas
on Netflix really made me cringe lol).

December 16th: The Santa Clause 2
In all honesty this movie in the trilogy is the one I
remember the best. Santa is out living his best life, sleighing
it if you will, and then is forced into a life of terrible imprisonment, aka
marriage. Hahaha Okay that was a little too cynical for Christmas time.
I didn’t like the concept that he had to get married, but overall I
always do enjoy this movie and the scene when they are at the
school Christmas party makes me smile.

.
December 17th: The Santa Clause 3
This is the third and final movie in the series annnnnd
honestly the worst of the three, but I couldn’t make this list
without including it. Still a great one to watch with the whole family.

December 18th: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
You just cannot go through this Christmas season without
spending some quality time with the Griswald family. You
just can’t! Also, Clark Griswald’s Christmas light display on the
outside of his house makes me soo jealous. Lol

December 19th: Home Alone
Don’t worry! I didn’t forget about little Kevin like his family
did! Home Alone is such a classic and well known Christmas
movie that stands the test of time year after year after year.
(Only the first in the series though...the others are simply not worth
my time. lol) Merry Christmas ya filthy animals.

“SAAANNNNTTTAAAAA!” That is honestly the first line
that pops into my head whenever I think of this movie. Lol
I would have to say this is probably my brother and I’s Christmas
movie. We watched it all the time when we were kids!

December 21st: Christmas with the Kranks
I don’t know how accurate this memory is, but whenever
I think of Christmas with the Kranks I think of watching it for
the first time at my Uncle Gail’s house with my family and
having to stop the movie because of a tornado! Fam...help me
out….did this really happen or am I just losing it in my old age?
Lol Regardless I have loved this movie from the first moment I
watched it and it continues to make me laugh again and again
and again. (Fun fact, this movie is based on the book Skipping
Christmas by John Grisham which I read during the Christmas season
last year and would recommend!)

December 22nd: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Live Action)
I personally like the live action version with Jim Carrey
better than the animated ones. The
sad part though is that the reason why I like it better is because
I relate more to the Grinch in this movie. “4 o’clock, wallow in
self-pity, 4:30, stare into the abyss....6:30, dinner with me. I
can’t cancel that again!” *sigh* Tell me you are an adult
without telling me you are an adult. Lol

your “hot, hot, hot, HOT CHOCOLATE.”

December 24th: A Charlie Brown Christmas
A heartwarming tale that is perfect to watch with
your family on Christmas Eve.
.

December 25th: A Christmas Story
This is the ultimate Christmas movie. Hands down the best
of the best. One that I watch on repeat all day long on Christmas
Day. It is iconic and a must watch.
