Watch It Wednesday Part 10
This week's shows were kind of a mixed bag. There were some I ended up being
pretty disappointed by and others that totally surprised me. Scroll down
to read my thoughts!

.
Ali Wong: Don Wong SKIP
I have never watched Ali Wong’s comedy before, but what I watched
was certainly not what I was expecting. Lol There were only a few
times throughout the whole show where I found myself letting go
of a laugh or two so in my opinion this is a skip.
.
St. Vincent WATCH!!!!
Has Bill Murray ever been in a bad movie? I don’t think so and he's
not starting with this one. This movie had me laughing, it had
me crying (especially during the kid’s speech at the end), and it had me
not wanting to stop watching. It was so good and definitely one I
recommend you watch.
.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre meh…SKIP
Like most horror movies there are a lot of plot holes to this movie and
a TON of things that just don’t make any sense, but if you are looking
for a nice gore fest this one definitely has you covered. I usually am not
one to balk at gore, but for whatever reason this one really kind of got to
me and there were moments when I even had to look away. I didn’t find it scary
(quite frankly sometimes it was just plain stupid), but it definitely had some
stomach-turning moments.
.
jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Triology SKIP
I’m going to preface this by saying that I am not a Kayne fan. I mean
he does have some songs that I like (No Church in the Wild, Stronger, Black Skinhead, etc).
However, I have zero respect for him as a person. I liked how this was filmed
because it felt very reminiscent of the early MTV shows and it was kind of interesting
to see his rise, but I just can’t say it is a must watch (unless you are a die hard Kanye fan).
.
Rust Valley Restorers WATCH
I LOVE classic cars. Seriously. One day I want to have a garage filled
with classic cars like Leno. (Probably not realistic, but it is a nice dream lol) So
it probably comes as no surprise that I love watching shows like this one. It was
so amazing to see them take cars that, to me, looked like they were ready for
the crusher and then turned them into things of pure beauty. Plus the main guy
of the show is really kind of crazy and I enjoyed watching him and his dreadlocks. Lol
.
A Madea Homecoming WATCH
This was my first time watching a Madea movie all the way through and
while there were definitely parts I scoffed at because they were pretty
ridiculous, there were also quite a few I found myself laughing so hard
at. Great comedy movie for the adults.
.
Worst Roommate Ever WATCH
True crime fans this is definitely a show you need to add to your watch list!
.
Restless SKIP
The cover for this movie is what initially caught my attention and I
thought it was going to be pretty dang good. However, while it wasn’t
terrible, it definitely fell short of my expectations. There was action, but it
didn’t feel like there was much pressure or suspense behind it so it kind
of lost its punch. There are so many better action movies to spend your
time watching than this one.
.
Swap Shop WATCH
This reality show takes place in the South where “treasure hunters” listen
to a radio show called Swap Shop to find all the sales and barters. I thought
it was really interesting to watch and see what things people find at these
sales. If you like American Pickers you will definitely like this show.
.
Pieces of Her SKIP
I think the first episode of this series was by far the best and set the bar
too high for the rest of the episodes to live up to. The first episode was intense.
It had action and was thrilling while the rest of the series was kind of a slow
burn with a stupid main character and full of predictability.
